Anderson .Paak’s First Week Sales For “Oxnard” Album Score Career Milestone

Anderson .Paak’s new studio album, Oxnard, has earned an unprecedented first week of sales for the artist. The album, which dropped on November 16,  racked up 39,807 units in total (including 13,411 tradition album sales) and marks it’s debut at number 11 on this week’s Billboard 200 chart. This latest release signifies the biggest commercial success for the rapper. His last solo album Malibu debuted in the 79th spot in 2016, peaking at number 9 on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip Hop ranking.

Estate Of Tupac Shakur Unveils 20th Anniversary “Greatest Hits” Merchandise

The estate of the late Tupac Shakur posted to its Twitter page earlier this week to reveal was a new “2Pac merch line” to commemorate the 20th anniversary of his Greatest Hits album, which was released on November 24, 1998. 2Pac’s Greatest Hits consisted classics such as “Hail Mary,” “Dear Mama,” California Love,” “Keep Ya Head Up,” Brenda’s Got a Baby,” “Picture Me Rollin,” “To Live & Die in L.A.,” “How Long Will They Mourn Me?” and “How Do U Want It.”

Meek Mill Drops Two Songs Off His ‘Championships’ Album Featuring Fabolous And Anuel AA

Meek Mill’s new album, Championships is due to be released next week, but in the meantime, Mill shared a couple of new songs from the forthcoming LP.  The first track is titled “Uptown Vibes” and features Fabolous and Anuel AA. The second track, “Oodles O’ Noodles Babies,” has Meek rapping over a sample procured by Dolla Bill Kidz and Kendxll.

Tekashi 6ix9ine Reportedy Moved From Prison To A Federal Facility

Tekashi 6ix9ine has reportedly been moved from prison to a federal facility; this coming days after the rapper was warned that he could face life behind bars. Tekashi — real name Daniel Rodriguez – was remanded in custody on Monday (November 19) after facing an initial court appearance where prosecutors confirmed he faces racketeering and firearms charges alongside three other men. If found guilty, 6ix9ine faces a minimum sentence of 32 years and a maximum of life in prison. The charges reportedly arise from a five-year investigation into the Nine Trey Bloods street gang, of which 6ix9ine is allegedly a member.
