Tekashi 6ix9ine Reportedy Moved From Prison To A Federal Facility

Tekashi 6ix9ine has reportedly been moved from prison to a federal facility; this coming days after the rapper was warned that he could face life behind bars. Tekashi — real name Daniel Rodriguez – was remanded in custody on Monday (November 19) after facing an initial court appearance where prosecutors confirmed he faces racketeering and firearms charges alongside three other men. If found guilty, 6ix9ine faces a minimum sentence of 32 years and a maximum of life in prison. The charges reportedly arise from a five-year investigation into the Nine Trey Bloods street gang, of which 6ix9ine is allegedly a member.

Queen Latifah, Mary J. Blige And Missy Elliot To Collaborate On “The Clark Sisters” Biopic

Karen Clark Sheard, Jacky Clark Chisholm, and Dorinda Clark Cole — better known as The Clark Sisters — will be bringing their story to TV. In an Instagram post, The Legendary Clark Sisters shared their excitement: “It is with great anticipation that we share with you the story of the Clark Sisters “You Bought The Sunshine” coming early 2019″ The movie will be executive produced by Queen Latifah, Mary J Blige and Missy Elliot, and will premiere on Lifetime.

Snoop Dogg Receives Star On Hollywood Walk Of Fame

This week, Snoop Dogg was officially awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Snoop shared his gratitude over the award, giving thanks to his friends and family for their endless support. Jimmy Kimmel, Quincy Jones and Dr. Dre were in attendance for Snoop’s special moment. In the latter part of his acceptance speech, Snoop made time to thank himself, as he looked back on his journey to success. “I want to thank me for believing in me,” he said. “I want to thank me for doing all this hard work. I want to thank me for having no days off. I want to thank me for never quitting. I want to thank me for always being a giver, and trying to give more than I receive. I want to thank me for trying to do more right than wrong. I want to thank me for just being me at all times.” 
Snoop’s star marks the 2,651st star on the famed walk. He will also be celebrating the 25th anniversary of his debut album Doggystyle on Friday, November 23rd. You can check out his full acceptance speech below.

Tekashi 6ix9ine And His Former Manager Arrested On Racketeering Charges

Tekashi 6ix9ine and his ex-manager Shottie have been arrested on racketeering and firearms charges, and were both taken into custody by federal agents on Sunday night, November 18. Tekashi’s former bodyguard, Faheem “Crippy” Walter, was also arrested and will be arraigned on Monday, November 19 in Manhattan federal court. Racketeering is a federal charge under the 1970 RICO act and has a 93 percent conviction rate, making prison time likely for the 22-year-old. Tekashi 6ix9ine recently fired his entire Tr3way and MTA booking team, accusing them of skimming $120,000 from a $3.6 million concert deal, which his former team denies.
