A Man Pretends to be a Cop to Get a Free Drink, Right in Front of a Real Cop

You should never impersonate a police officer.  But if you do, at least TRY to dress the part.  A guy named Ronald Taylor went to a Golden Corral buffet in Clarksville, Tennessee on Thursday.  And when he was paying for his food, he demanded a free soda, since he said he was a cop and, “the drink is usually free.”

Then he flashed a badge and a gun.  But there were a LOT of problems with his cop routine.

1.  The badge he showed was a concealed weapon permit, not a police badge.

2.  There was a REAL cop in front of him in line, who thought it all seemed suspicious.

3.  And worst of all, Ronald was wearing khaki dress pants tucked into cowboy boots.  That’s not a cop look.  That’s not really ANYBODY’S look, except maybe a nerdy insurance agent or something.

The real cop asked Ronald for his badge, saw it was fake, and ran his name.  It turns out Ronald IS really just a nerdy insurance agent.  So he was arrested for impersonating a police officer.
