Chris Brown was detained in Paris on Monday, January 21, after a woman filed a rape complaint.

Rappers Soulja Boy and 2 Chainz have called out singer Ariana Grande for allegedly copying their work for her latest track “7 Rings”. Earlier this month, Grande was also accused of stealing lyrics by rapper Princess Nokia for the same song.

Police in Bensalem, Pennsylvania have arrested PnB Rock — real name Rakim Hasheem Allen — for narcotics and firearm offenses. Allen was taken into custody on Sunday, January 20 after authorities found four pounds of marijuana and a stolen gun in his Bensalem home.

Kanye West’s upcoming Yandhi album has still not be given a release date – this after West travelled to Africa to allegedly finish the highly delayed project. Earlier this week, however, West shared the second episode of his newly launched Sunday Service series (which is a jam session with a variety of his musician friends) and during the episode, West joined several musicians for a newly revised version of “Ghost Town,” a track taken from his 2018 release, ye.  Kanye also gave the audience a taste of Yandhi in the form of a previously unheard song, “We’ll Find A Way.” He also sang a Gospel-infused version of Michael Jackson’s “Will You Be There.”

The late Mac Miller would have turned 27 on Saturday, January 19 and friends and family turned to social media to honor the musician.
