Kid Cudi took to Twitter to announce to his fans an update regarding a potential show with 50 Cent in the works. The rapper explains in the tweet that he hopped on a phone call with 50 to discuss the possibility of coming together for a new TV series, saying, “Had a call w 50 Cent last week about cookin’ up a show together. Big things happening!! I’ll keep u posted. 50 is one of my favorite emcees and he’s also a really great guy w a good heart.”

Lil Baby has shared his plan to open a new restaurant in his hometown of Atlanta with a lounge vibe. “Actually, I have a new restaurant and I’ma open it in Atlanta,” he stated during an interview over zoom.  “It was supposed to be open by January, but we had to finish the stages, so maybe, February, March.”

Rapper T.I. and his wife, Tameka “Tiny” Harris, are adamantly denying what they call “appalling” abuse allegations made against them. The couple made headlines after a woman named Sabrina Peterson posted screenshots of unverified messages from over a dozen unidentified women accusing the rapper and his wife of sexual abuse. Peterson is a former friend of the couple.

French Montana confirmed that he has secured Jay-Z’s vocals on one of his songs, marking the first time the two have collaborated together. French said in a clip from DJ Semtex’s Hip-Hop Raised Me podcast that “The only person I haven’t worked with yet and we just found the song – I mean, I worked with him on other people’s songs, but me and him never had like, you know, one of the Montana hook, is Jay-Z. And we finally found the song…so you know, you got the news first! So we just finally found song me and him been going back and forth, so hopefully that’ll go down.”

Young Thug recently shared cover art and a release date today, Friday, January 29 for new music. Thug teased the news on Instagram, without offering any specifics, but fans are expecting he is about to drop a sequel to his 2018 YSL compilation project Slime Language.
