Taylor Swift has donated $1 million dollars to the Middle Tennessee Emergency Response Fund, which supports the communities hit by a string of tornadoes which destroyed parts of Tennessee, as well as assist the nonprofits helping the victims. Two tornadoes struck central Tennessee last week, leaving at least 24 people dead and hundreds of buildings destroyed.

HBO Max has officially announced the first new member of the Gossip Girl reboot cast. Emily Alyn Lind will star in the forthcoming series, portraying a lead character in the series named Audrey, who “has been in a long term relationship and is beginning to wonder what more could be out there.” Lind has appeared in a slew of other projects, including Netflix’s The Babysitter and its sequel, and as the character Amanda Clarke on Revenge. According to IMDb, her first role was in 2008’s The Secret Life of Bees, where she played a young version of Dakota Fanning’s character Lily.
After almost 23 years of marriage, Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick are set to star together in a revival of “Plaza Suite” on Broadway. The Neil Simon play revolves around three different couples in three-one act plays set in the same suite of the Plaza Hotel.
Netflix has announced that it will be bringing its best stand-up comedians to Los Angeles for Netflix Is a Joke Fest, a weeklong event highlighting the streaming service’s comedy library. Netflix Is a Joke Fest will feature more than 100 shows from the likes of Dave Chappelle, Ali Wong, Amy Schumer, Pete Davidson, and more.
