If you’re on the dating scene, you know there are times you IMMEDIATELY know the other person is NOT a fit. Other times, it takes much longer before red flags emerge.
There’s a new list online, where women are sharing “the moment they knew the man they were with was an idiot.” And here are some highlights:
1. “In college I came back from spring break with bangs. A guy said, ‘What did you do to your hair?’ I said, ‘I got bangs.’ We stood there in silence as he realized girls’ hair doesn’t just grow shorter in the front like a genetic trait.”
2. “My husband thought that women wear white when they are on their period because that’s what they do in feminine hygiene commercials.”
Another said, “My ex-husband saw a Tampax ad on TV and said, ‘They only advertise those when they know women are having their periods.’ I had to explain that we were not all on the same schedule.”
3. “I knew a guy who thought a woman could just take a shower after sex to prevent pregnancy.”
4. “My first boyfriend thought that a woman’s breasts inflated during sex like a man’s penis does.”
5. “My ex-boyfriend was concerned about having periodic night sweats, so he Googled it. He proceeded to tell me he has menopause.”
Another said, “My partner had bad back pain, and proceeded to tell me he ‘hopes it isn’t rigor mortis!'”
6. “My ex in college thought women could just produce breast milk on demand. He was shocked when I informed him that I needed to have a baby first.”
7. “My high school boyfriend didn’t know that tampons are left in. He thought you just swirled them around to clean up, then tossed them out.”
8. And finally, someone said, “I had to tell an ex that women pooped.”
9. “He thought an egg came out when someone finished their period. Like…a chicken egg.”
