A new poll asked Americans to rank about 40 things on a scale of “very cool”, “somewhat cool”, “not very cool”, and “not at all cool.”
Here are the 15 most cool things:
1. Science . . . 58% said it was “very cool.” Only 3% said “not at all cool.”
2. Outer space . . . 56% said “very cool.” 4% said “not at all cool.”
3. Reading books . . . 49% said “very cool.” 5% said “not at all cool.”
4. Rock music . . . 44% said “very cool.” 7% said “not at all cool.”
5. Computers . . . 41% said “very cool.” 7% said “not at all cool.”
6. Watching movies . . . 38% said “very cool.” 4% said “not at all cool.”
7. Coffee . . . 35% said “very cool.” 13% said “not at all cool.”
8. Online surveys . . . 34% said “very cool.” (???) 7% said “not at all cool.”
9. American football . . . 31% said “very cool.” 21% said “not at all cool.”
10. Sourdough bread . . . 31% said “very cool.” 12% said “not at all cool.”
11. Math . . . 29% said “very cool.” 19% said “not at all cool.”
12. Tea . . . 27% said “very cool.” 13% said “not at all cool.”
