Would you take your pet on a cruise with you? A new company called Fabled Voyages is hoping you would.
They’re planning long-term residential cruises where passengers can bring their dogs and cats along for the ride.
The idea came from the founders themselves. Here’s what they said, “With a desire to travel the world and include our dachshunds with us, the safest and easiest method was through a yacht [or] ship.”
The Fabled Voyages would be open for dogs up to 40 pounds, and cats up to 20 pounds. And the ships would include pet zones, grooming, and even vet services. But not everyone’s on board with the idea.
Someone said, “So you can bring it to the buffet, and [we’ll] have dog hair in our food? Can I bring my cat, horse, cow, sheep, goat, turtle, goldfish, parrot and iguana, too?”
Overall, the internet seems divided. A lot of people are loving the idea. But the rest are worried about dog poop.
