There’s a new pizza mashup that’s only available in Japan. Which is either disappointing, or a relief. What do you think?
Pizza Hut in Japan has introduced a handheld “Handy Melt” folded pizza, which is made with STRAWBERRY KIT-KATS.
And no, it’s not a fake candy pizza. It’s basically like a Hot Pocket, with strawberry Kit-Kats instead of pepperoni.
They say the new pizza has a “specially-selected mozzarella cheese with extra richness and salt content to counterbalance the sweetness of the Kit-Kats.” The “crispy Kit-Kat wafers provide a satisfying crunch.”
And it’s also “kneaded with real strawberry pieces,” to create a “crispy pizza dough [that’s] infused with a rich strawberry flavor.” This wonderful monstrosity will be available in Japan for the next month. (Here’s a look at it.)
