If you’ve been holding out hope for a “White Christmas”, here’s the latest . . .
Christmas is 10 days out, and advance weather forecasts are shifting. Meteorologists say a warming trend is expected in the coming weeks, so the odds of a white Christmas are diminishing.
That’s a BIG RELIEF to anyone doing a lot of traveling or driving over the holidays, but a BIG BUMMER to those who love the idea of a white Christmas.
A temperature outlook from the Climate Prediction Center shows that the majority of the country is expected to see above-average temperatures from the 19th to the 25th.
In fact, the only places that are expected to have BELOW normal temps are the northern parts of Montana, North Dakota, and Minnesota, along with Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. Oh, and ALL of Alaska.
For everyone else, it’s not looking good for snow fans.
