What Would You Do? A Customer Saw “Help!” Written on Their Receipt

Starbucks is known for misspelling people’s names on their orders, but what if you saw something CONCERNING on your cup?

A couple went to a fast-food place in Florida called Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, and they noticed that instead of their name on their receipt, it just said, “Help.”  It was obvious, in big bold font, and it was also handwritten in black marker on a takeout box.

They weren’t sure what to do, so they posted a photo on social media, and asked if this is something they should call the cops about, or if it was just a joke or a random placeholder or something.

A lot of people said they should let someone know, including some police officers that were following the post, so they called the cops.  (They say they actually called soon after, and didn’t wait for all the responses.)

The police sent someone out, and the customer said they found out that it was just an employee playing a prank.

(Here’s a photo of “Help” on the order.)

Should I call the cops?
