A new survey asked people to name the most annoying types of airline passengers. And it’s different than other surveys we’ve seen, because it all about annoying things people do at the AIRPORT, not on the plane.
Here are the top ten:
1. People who try to cut to the front of the line because they’re late. Meaning the check-in line, or the security line.
2. People who don’t have their I.D. ready. So they waste time searching for it.
3. People who make jokes about terrorists or plane crashes. No one laughs at those.
4. People who hog more than one seat in the terminal. Like if you put your bag on the seat next to you, or take up three seats so you can lie down.
5. People who suck at going through security. Like the guy who forgets to take his belt off, or doesn’t know his computer needs its own bin.
6. Loud cell phone talkers. Which isn’t specific to airports, it’s just that annoying.
7. People who stand too close to the carousel at the baggage claim. So you have to get past a wall of people to grab your bags.
8. Sick people. Because you KNOW you’re gonna catch whatever they’ve got.
9. People who rush the gate when it’s time to board. That one kind of makes sense though, because you want to get an overhead bin before they’re full.
10. People who don’t know you can’t take full bottles of liquid through security. They have to be 3.4 ounces or less, and it’s been that way for about a decade.
