Bill Cosby hasn’t said much publicly over the past few years, but last week, he Tweeted a quick message to his supporters:  “Friends and fans, Thank You.”

Before that, he was charged with allegedly drugging and sexually assaulting a woman at his home in Pennsylvania 12 years ago.  This is the first time he’s actually faced charges.  He was released on $1 million bail.  (Here’s his mugshot.)

He could be looking at five to 10 years behind bars and a $25,000 fine.  His next hearing is scheduled for January 14th.

Also, a judge ruled that Cosby’s wife Camille has to give a deposition in a lawsuit brought by seven women who claim Cosby sexually abused them decades ago.

For what it’s worth, the “New York Post” claims Camille is upset and humiliated, and doesn’t want to defend him anymore.

Sources say she said,  “My husband doesn’t deserve jail, but he does deserve every bit of the hell he’s going through now, even though he’s still pretending that this hell doesn’t exist.”
