Waka Flocka receives Presidential Lifetime Award from Trump Administration

Waka Flocka Flame was honored for his humanitarian efforts in the community, being presented with a lifetime achievement award in his hometown in Atlanta, which was signed into action by Donald Trump’s administration before he left office in January.

Waka — born Juaquin James Malphurs — was honored for his work volunteering for the Chicago non-profit Daughter of Destiny. Pastor Apostle Dr. Bridget Outlaw presented Waka Flocka Flame with the award and putting the medal around his neck.  He said: “I just want to thank President Trump for recognizing me. I wanna thank Bridget and just everyone who love me with enough love back and do everything that I’ve wanted to do that was generous.” The 34-year-old also posted the news on Instagram, writing, Lifetime Achievement Award I gotta thank my pastor/big sister Apostle Dr. Bridget C. Outlaw for teaching and guiding me on this journey God got us on I’m just honored S/O to my president.”
