There’s a town in upstate New York called Whitesboro. And their official town seal seems just a LITTLE outdated. It’s a picture of a white settler CHOKING a Native American.
People in Whitesboro have been defending it for years. Their town website says it’s not what it looks like, the guys are just having a friendly wrestling match which, “helped foster good relations” with the Native Americans.
But even if that IS what it represents, it sure doesn’t seem like that.
So today, the town is having a vote, people will finally get to decide if they want to keep the logo or get a new one.
