Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and Mary J. Blige are teaming to produce a comedy for ABC. The two artists also collaborate on Starz’s Power Book II: Ghost and will be the team behind Family Affair, about a musician who’s suddenly put into a parental role. The network has committed to a pilot for the single-camera show from ABC Signature and writers Devon and Ranada Shepard.
Saweetie has released her video for the new single “Back to the Streets,” featuring Jhené Aiko. The new video is directed by Dave Meyers and co-produced by Timbaland, and features Saweetie as she rides bikes through alleys before taking off to the sky with Aiko.

Tory Lanez pleaded not guilty on Wednesday in the shooting of Megan Thee Stallion during an incident in July. Lanez’s lawyer Shawn Holley entered the plea on his behalf with a Los Angeles judge. The L.A. County D.A.’s Office charged the rapper with 1 count of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, and 1 count of carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle. Lanez has already posted $190,000 bond and been ordered to stay 100 yards away from Megan. He has denied the allegations on social media, saying that the truth will come out eventually.
