A luggage company called Modobag is trying to fund a carry-on that’s also a motorized SCOOTER. So you can RIDE it through the airport.
It looks like a normal black bag, but it has four wheels on one side instead of two. And a tiny set of handlebars pop up so you can steer.
It only has a top speed of eight miles an hour, but they claim it’ll get you to your gate three times faster. It also has two USB ports so you can charge stuff.
The downsides are you look like a clown, and they cost $1,300. Although you can pre-order one for $1,000 if you go to the page for “Modobag” on IndieGoGo.
Also, would airports even LET people ride these things? There are a few companies trying to make it happen, so it looks like the answer is yes.
If you want a MUCH cheaper option, there’s the “My Hitch.” It’s a piece of plastic that hooks your bag to the back of your PANTS. Then you walk with your hands free.
The problem is it makes your suitcase look like a tail. But it only costs $17 on MyBagHitch.com.
